Dan Winters is an award-winning photographer and director who is best known for his celebrity portraits, photojournalism and illustrations. His work is consistently featured in a variety of publications including National Geographic, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, TIME, The New York Times Magazine, GQ, Rolling Stone and WIRED. His clients include Apple, Nike, HBO, Amazon, Netflix, AppleTV+, Microsoft, Samsung, HP, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Universal, Sony, RCA and Interscope. He’s had multiple solo gallery exhibitions in New York and Los Angeles, and at SPAINMEDIA Gallery in Madrid, Spain, and a solo exhibition at the Telfair Museum Jepson Center for the Arts in Savannah. His work is in permanent collections at the National Portrait Gallery, Museum of Fine Art in Houston, the Telfair Museum and The Harry Ransom Center.  

Dan also has a collection of successful books that address a variety of subjects, including Dan Winters PhotographsDan Winters' America: Icons and Ingenuity, Last Launch, Periodical Photographs, Road To Seeing - which chronicles his path to becoming a photographer, and his most recent book, The Grey Ghost - which is a selection from 30 years of his New York street photography.  He lives in Austin, Los Angeles, and Savannah with his wife and son.
